About the job
For our client, we are looking for a mechanic who enjoys seeing the result of their work: a commercial vehicle built for its future use. You assemble customised superstructures, combine mechanics with hydraulics, and accompany the vehicle through to the functional test.
- You manufacture and assemble suitable assemblies and individual parts made of steel or aluminium.
- You install hydraulic components and commission the systems.
- You adapt components when a customer-specific solution requires it.
- You check movements and functions and rectify deviations before handover.
- You carry out the final inspection of your superstructures carefully.
- You enjoy working on commercial vehicles and take pleasure in mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and vehicle electrics is an advantage.
- You can adapt metal components; experience in welding is welcome.
- You work independently, carefully, and reliably.
- You communicate well in German in everyday work and enjoy working in a team.
- You work on different vehicle superstructures and see the finished result of your work.
- You receive responsibility for your tasks from assembly to functional testing.
- Five weeks’ holiday and a flexitime model offer you flexibility in everyday life.
- You can further your professional education and deepen your knowledge in hydraulics and vehicle construction.
- You will be part of a well-coordinated team with short decision-making paths.

Tasks

- You install hydraulic components and commission the systems.
- You adapt components when a customer-specific solution requires it.

- You carry out the final inspection of your superstructures carefully.
Profile
- You have completed training as an agricultural machinery mechanic EFZ, construction machinery mechanic EFZ, truck mechanic EFZ, vehicle locksmith, or in a comparable profession.- You enjoy working on commercial vehicles and take pleasure in mechanical assembly.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and vehicle electrics is an advantage.
- You can adapt metal components; experience in welding is welcome.
- You work independently, carefully, and reliably.
- You communicate well in German in everyday work and enjoy working in a team.
