Job Description
As part of strengthening the Compliance teams of our client, a leading international private bank based in Geneva, we are looking for a Junior KYC Analyst available immediately to support activities related to client onboarding and periodic reviews in a demanding and international environment. This assignment is scheduled until the end of December 2026.
This assignment offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in Compliance and KYC within an institution recognised for its excellence and client-centred approach.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in KYC (Know Your Customer) processes for Private Banking clients, both for new client onboarding and periodic reviews
- Conduct due diligence research and analysis on individuals and legal entities (screening, specialised databases, open sources)
- Verify account opening documentation and periodic updates in accordance with AML requirements and internal policies
- Contribute to the identification and assessment of client risks, particularly in the EUNINT and/or MENA markets
- Work closely with Relationship Managers and various internal teams to collect and validate required information
- Ensure accurate reporting and participate in various internal projects related to Compliance
We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training in Finance, Law, Economics or a similar field
- Minimum 1 year of experience in KYC/AML, Compliance or a similar role within the banking or financial sector, ideally in Swiss Private Banking
- Good knowledge of the EUNINT and/or MENA markets is an advantage
- Mastery of AML/KYC regulations and international compliance standards
- AML certifications (ACAMS, VisionCompliance or equivalent) appreciated
- Experience in due diligence activities and client interactions (meetings, calls)
- Good command of common IT tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and ability to adapt to complex systems
- Excellent command of English; French is an asset
