Your job behind the scenes

• Aircraft handling: You take care of loading and unloading passenger and cargo aircraft.

• Safety at the aircraft: You secure arriving machines with chocks according to regulations and provide the ground markings.

• Technical support: You coordinate docking and ensure ground power and air supply at the aircraft.

• Equipment expert: You operate the most modern handling equipment such as conveyor belts, passenger stairs and high loaders.

• Transport: With electric tractors, you transport luggage and cargo punctually across the apron directly to their destination.

• Power & fitness: You are physically very fit, enduring and enjoy working outdoors in any weather.

• Ideal for studies & part-time job: Perfect for students, career changers or part-timers who want to build up some financial resources on the side.

• Language skills: You speak fluent German (at least level B1, as absolutely safety-relevant on the apron).

• Mobility & driving licence: You must have a category B driving licence as well as your own car (essential for shift starts early in the morning or late in the evening).

• Flexibility: Shift work (early and late shifts) including weekends or public holidays is manageable for you.

• Reliability: Clean criminal record extract (mandatory for the airport ID) as well as a valid Swiss work permit (B, C) or Swiss passport.

• Attractive salary: CHF 27.70 gross / hour plus generous allowances for early, night, Sunday and public holiday work.

• Paid training: 2-week fully paid induction – no prior knowledge required, career changers are warmly welcome!
