The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a grammar school with classical and modern language profiles (from 2029 additionally with special focus subjects in social and natural sciences), an immersion course in German/English as well as a strong STEM offering. Around 800 pupils learn at our school, taught and supported by 150 teachers and staff in administration and operations. At the start of the 2027/28 school year or by arrangement, positions amounting to 60 to 70 percent as a secondary school teacher mbA (with special duties) in the subject of piano are to be filled at our school.

Your Tasks
- You teach piano in the basic and elective subjects in lower and upper secondary school.
- You initiate and lead ensembles and participate in interdisciplinary projects.
- You engage in the subject department and take on special tasks within the school framework (subject head, participation in committees and school development projects, etc.).
Your Profile
- Ideally, you have two master’s degrees (pedagogy, performance) or a comparable qualification.
- You have been teaching children and young people with commitment for several years, including in gifted education programmes, and use digital possibilities effectively.
- You pursue a creative concert activity with impact.
- You are an open, team-oriented and committed personality who cares about both professional training and personal development; you want to contribute to a diverse and lively school culture.
