Senior Software Engineer – SaaS Platform & Architecture

Our SaaS platform is used productively by customers every day and is continuously evolving. With new features, the demands on architecture, performance, and stability also increase. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Software Engineer who wants to take responsibility and actively help shape our technical architecture.

Even if you have not yet worked as a Solution Architect, we look forward to your application. If you have several years of experience as a Software Engineer and want to take the next step towards architecture, we are happy to support you.

Your tasks

• Co-design and further development of the technical architecture of our SaaS platform
• Collaboration as a Full Stack developer on demanding features and technical concepts
• Supporting the team in architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical questions
• Planning and accompanying releases as well as optimising performance, monitoring, and system stability
• Analysis and handling of complex 3rd-level support cases
• Technical leadership and coaching of our nearshore and offshore teams
• Use of AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable solutions in daily development
• Further development of our DevOps processes and engineering standards

Your profile

• Completed studies in computer science (ETH, university, university of applied sciences) or a comparable field
• At least four years of professional experience in software development
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Experience with DevOps and cloud-native technologies
• Confident handling of Kubernetes, Helm, GitHub, CI/CD, and monitoring solutions
• Experience with code reviews and agile development methods
• Experience with AI-supported development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or comparable solutions
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
• Very good German and English skills
