What is my role?

Our client is looking for a Head of Finance who will take on the following tasks:

• Leadership and organisation of the Finance department

• Responsibility for the entire municipal finance and accounting

• Preparation of budget, financial planning, annual accounts and other financial documents

• Management of financial accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable and asset accounting

• Participation in finance- and administration-related projects as well as in the further development of administrative processes

• Leadership, support and promotion of employees in the finance area

What do I need to be successful?

• Training in accounting

• Professional experience in the field of public finance

• Very good MS Office skills

• Sound knowledge of accounting standards

• A strong numerical understanding and a solution-oriented mindset

• Teamwork skills, resilience and the necessary degree of assertiveness

• A sense of responsibility as well as a high level of discretion
