The St.Gallen Municipal Utilities are the reliable partner for the population and economy of the city of St.Gallen as well as partly the region in the supply of energy, water and fibre optics. For the Electricity and Telecom Network division, Energy Logistics department, we are looking for a
Energy Data Specialist (m/f/d) 80 - 100%
Your responsibilities
- Ensuring the smooth operation of energy data and meter data management systems as well as high data quality
- Analysing, validating and preparing energy data as well as creating reports and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting energy clients, carrying out supplier switches and assisting with energy industry-related queries
- Coordinating interfaces between various systems while complying with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Participating in projects to further develop energy data management and implement the Energy Strategy 2050
Your profile
- Technical or commercial basic training with further education in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable field
- Experience in the energy industry and ideally knowledge of energy data or meter data management systems (EDM/MDM)
- Analytical thinking and interest in data analysis, calculations and complex interrelationships
- Independent, structured and precise working style with a strong solution orientation
- Team spirit, communication skills and enthusiasm for innovation and digital technologies
