The Hospital Network AR
The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the direction of Dr Mirjana Vidakovic, Tanja Romano is seeking a physiotherapist at the Herisau location from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, in the Psychiatric Centre in the area of general therapies.
Your tasks
- Conducting assessments, treatment planning, treatment measures and evaluation for inpatient and outpatient patients
- Documentation and recording of services provided in a timely, complete and legible manner
- Ensuring a goal-oriented, target group-appropriate flow of information within the team and interprofessionally
- Independent and optimal daily and weekly planning of patients with support from the secretariat
- Targeted use of expertise and technical equipment to fulfil tasks
- Economic thinking and acting
Your profile
- Swiss diploma as a certified physiotherapist (SRK or FH)
- Diploma with a foreign qualification, if possible recognised by the SRK
- Several years of professional experience
- Flexibility and resilience as well as your cheerful and team-oriented manner distinguish you
- Good PC user skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
