The Broker Business Directorate in Zurich-Oerlikon is responsible as the market development unit of Mobiliar for the partnership-based collaboration with professional brokers. In our Market Development SME department, we are looking for an experienced SME Insurance Underwriter.

Your Responsibilities with Us

As an SME Underwriter, you independently handle broker enquiries in the areas of property, liability, technical insurances, and guarantee insurances.

In this role, you develop coverage concepts, prepare offers, restructuring proposals, and independently underwrite risks within your competencies. You make risk-appropriate underwriting decisions, coordinate collaboration with your assigned brokers, and ensure efficient and customer-oriented processing of business cases.

You conduct negotiations with brokers and inform them about product renewals. Through high service quality and willingness towards brokers, you make a direct contribution to the company’s success.

Your Profile

• Completed insurance apprenticeship with further training at specialist certificate level
• Several years of experience and sound knowledge in underwriting and in the fields of property and liability insurance
• Initiative and communicative personality, convincing through negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Open-minded, reliable and customer-oriented working style
• Resilient, team- and customer-oriented personality
• Native German speaker, any additional language is a plus
