Our central IT architecture team, currently with just under 15 employees, shapes the evolution of our IT landscape in close collaboration with our stakeholders, especially the portfolio of applications used within Zürcher Kantonalbank. Among other things, this lays the foundation for the bank's technical innovation and resilience.
In our central enterprise IT architecture, you take on an advisory and controlling role in shaping our IT landscape.
Your tasks
- Developing the strategic data and analytics architecture in line with the IT and corporate strategy
- Defining and establishing guidelines and guardrails (e.g., patterns with specifications, standards, etc.) for Gen AI, Data Analytics, and Governance.
- Reviewing solution designs (domain blueprints, target architectures, etc.) for compliance with enterprise IT architecture requirements
- Working closely with business units, solution architects, engineers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into viable architectural concepts
- Evaluating and selecting technologies, platforms, and tools in the AI and data environment
- Maintaining and further developing the current architecture models for AI and data science.
Your profile
- Completed education or training in (business) informatics or comparable professional experience
- Several years of experience as an architect (solution/data/enterprise) in complex IT landscapes with modern AI and data platforms (cloud data platforms, lakehouse architectures, data mesh, data warehouses, self-service analytics, and data visualization) in the financial services sector are required
- Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), capability-based modeling, and working in agile environments (e.g., SCRUM, SAFe) is an advantage
- Broad know-how about banking applications, IT solutions & reference architectures
- Many years of experience in model-driven development (e.g., Data Vault, dimensional modeling)
- Solid knowledge in AI, data engineering, and data platform technologies
- Very good German skills (at least C1)
