What you can achieve
- Participate in ICT projects as a Software Engineer for command information systems
- Design, develop and maintain software applications, plugins and interfaces
- Advise the customer on defining software requirements considering the software architecture
- Create mockups, models for data, functions and/or objects as well as develop prototypes
- Be responsible for analysing and fixing software errors in productive applications
- Assist in conducting integration and acceptance tests
What you bring with you
- Degree in computer science or vocational training as an ICT specialist EFZ or career changer with further training in computer science
- Several years of professional experience as a Software Engineer
- Very good knowledge of .NET Framework (C#), Visual Studio (entire technology stack) and SCRUM
- Good knowledge of MS technologies (Client/Server, Azure DevOps) and network knowledge as well as Java (entire technology stack) is an advantage
- Team player with initiative, conscientious working style and enjoyment in shaping things
- Willingness to work closely with system engineers in the context of the DevSecOps environment
- Experience with virtualisation and container technologies is an advantage
- Very good German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
