YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Independent development of car bodies for the entire Stadler Rail Group
- Design and development of innovative concepts, components, and welded assemblies considering technical and economic aspects
- Interdisciplinary coordination with the departments of development, calculation, production, and purchasing
- Creation and preparation of manufacturing documents and technical specifications
- Construction supervision during production start as the responsible specialist in the specific project
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed technical education at university level with a focus on mechanical engineering
- Several years of professional experience in design and development, preferably in vehicle or mechanical engineering
- Experience with aluminum welded constructions and extruded profiles is an advantage
- Independent, goal-oriented, and structured way of working
- Flexibility, resilience, openness, enjoyment in dealing with people
- Solid knowledge in Catia V5/V6 or a comparable current 3D-CAD system
- English skills (level B2) spoken and written
