This is what you can look forward to.
With your team, you make an important contribution to ensuring that public transport functions reliably. Thanks to your commitment, the facilities in the maintenance workshop and the service facility in Biel remain safe, available and ready for use. You work closely with the production units, the plant management and various specialist departments and help to ensure that the technical facilities are operated economically and reliably. An exciting and varied task awaits you in a collegial working environment. Benefits such as a free GA, discounted travel abroad - also for the family - can be found on our website under Benefits.
This is what you can achieve.
- As a team leader, you lead and develop a team of seven to nine employees according to SBB's leadership principles and derive appropriate measures from key figures, which you implement purposefully.
- You plan, coordinate and are responsible for all maintenance activities in the workshop and the service facility in Biel, from preventive and curative deployments to special assignments within the framework of operational processes.
- You take on the technical and safety-relevant responsibility for the facilities, ensure compliance with the Service Level Agreements and ensure sustainable solutions with effective fault management.
- You further develop the maintenance strategy, act as the interface between production and maintenance and contribute your expertise in shopfloor rounds, management and specialist meetings as well as in exchange with the site management. In addition, you support specialists with technical questions.
- Together with internal and external experts, you optimise the maintenance of facility, building and rail infrastructure objects.
- In close exchange with regional management, you support audits, take on special tasks and participate in strategic and operational decisions. In this way, you contribute to the continuous development of the organisation.
This is what you bring with you.
- As a team player, you actively approach people, lead and motivate your team and keep the big picture in mind thanks to your networked way of thinking.
- You are confident in audience-appropriate and solution-oriented communication with different stakeholders.
- You bring several years of professional experience in industrial maintenance, including leadership experience in a comparable role.
- A technical vocational training of at least four years specialising in the electrical field (NIV Art. 15 or Art. 13 advantageous), sound knowledge in mechatronics as well as production and process technology and a successfully completed higher vocational training (e.g. federal diploma in a technical field, maintenance manager, facility manager or a comparable further education) characterise your profile.
- You have experience in fault analysis as well as in the technical evaluation of facilities and work confidently with Microsoft 365. Knowledge of SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA rounds off your profile.
- Very good German skills at level C1 as well as French skills at level B1 in spoken and written form complete your profile.
