YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the global Master Data Management (MDM) organisation (20 - 25 employees) in Engineering
- Definition, further development, and implementation of the company-wide MDM strategy
- Establishment and assurance of company-wide MDM governance to ensure uniform standards and processes
- Development and enhancement of company-wide MDM processes to ensure efficient and scalable operations
- Harmonisation of engineering master data, data models, and working methods across all locations
- Ensuring cross-site collaboration and alignment on common goals and standards
- Close cooperation with Engineering, IT, Application Management, and Business Stakeholders to implement strategic initiatives
- Conducting data analyses to identify optimisation potentials and ensure high data quality
- Active participation in the development of evaluations, automations, and digital solutions to support Master Data Management
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in engineering, industrial engineering, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in international organisations with disciplinary leadership responsibility
- Proven experience in building, managing, or further developing Master Data Management organisations
- Sound knowledge of engineering master data, data governance models, and data quality management
- Very good understanding of engineering processes and their integration into PLM and ERP system landscapes
- Experience in standardising and harmonising processes, data models, and working methods across multiple locations
- Strong strategic and conceptual skills as well as experience in developing and implementing roadmaps
- Experience in stakeholder management at management and executive levels
- High affinity for data analysis, digitalisation, and technical contexts
- Willingness and ability to handle operational and technical topics alongside leadership tasks
- Knowledge of SQL, reporting, analysis or automation tools, and ideally initial programming experience (e.g. Python, VBA or comparable technologies)
- Entrepreneurial thinking, hands-on mentality, and strong implementation skills
- Fluent German and English skills
