Data Engineer - DWH & SQL (m/f/d)
Role:
You love clean data structures and performant queries and want to actively shape the future of a modern data landscape. In this role, you take responsibility for the data warehouse and ODS architecture and ensure that data is consistent, structured and reliably available. You design processes and structures so that strategic and operational decisions are efficiently supported. In doing so, you build the bridge between technology, strategy and business and ensure that all parties speak the same data language.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the reliable operation of the DWH / ODS landscape and continuously develop it further
You optimise databases, queries and recovery concepts for performance, data security and availability
You apply your knowledge of MS SQL Server, T-SQL, Reporting Services and PowerShell purposefully
You take an active role in migrations, application projects and strategic initiatives
You also coordinate collaboration with external development partners and providers
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in business informatics, finance, business administration or a comparable qualification
You have experience in data analytics, database administration and SQL development
Knowledge of Finnova or the banking environment is an advantage
You have excellent written and spoken German, complemented by very good English
