Your tasks

• Deputising for the Head of Engineering in operational and organisational day-to-day business
• Ensuring the availability and operational reliability of production facilities
• Planning, coordinating and carrying out maintenance and repair work
• Active participation in the operational area of maintenance and engineering
• Participation in optimisation and investment projects in production
• Leading and further developing engineering and maintenance teams
• Close cooperation with production, quality assurance and external service providers
• Ensuring compliance with safety, hygiene and quality standards
• Active involvement in the strategic development of the technical infrastructure
• Gradual assumption of leadership and organisational tasks with a prospect of heading the engineering department

Your profile

• Completed technical basic training (e.g. mechanic, automation technician, electromechanic or comparable)
• Several years of professional experience in engineering or maintenance of a production company
• Operational experience with production and industrial plants
• Leadership experience or experience in coordinating teams
• Further training in the technical field (e.g. technician HF, master craftsman or comparable) is an advantage
• Independent, solution-oriented and responsible way of working
• Assertiveness as well as team and communication skills
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
