MATERIALS AND LANDFILL OPERATIONS MANAGER
Tuileries Fribourg & Lausanne SA is an independent company founded over 100 years ago with production sites in Düdingen FR and Crissier VD, complemented by those of Tuileries AGZ in Gettnau LU and Roggwil BE, of which it is a member. Your tasks
- Supervise the operation of type B landfills
- Acquire new suppliers and manage the quality of deliveries
- Maintain relations with official authorities (municipalities, cantons, environment)
- Ensure operational campaigns in clay pits in terms of quality, cost and yield
- Organise and supervise site reclamation
- Daily monitoring, documentation and reporting, in compliance with the directives and ordinances on inert materials at the company sites
- Supervise staff
- Organise and manage the maintenance of construction machinery and vehicle fleets
Your profile - our expectations
- Proven experience in excavation and/or landfill operations, knowledge of clay materials is a plus
- Machine operator licence
- In-depth knowledge of landfill-related constraints
- Excellent network within the construction sector and official authorities
- Proactive personality, pragmatic mindset, field-oriented and capable of developing long-term trustful relationships
- Team spirit, good organiser
- Knowledge of German: an advantage
