Within the Banking Services division, we develop and operate the nationwide services eBill and direct debit. To further develop the eBill platform, we are strengthening our agile development team and are looking for a person with experience in application architecture as well as enthusiasm for full-stack development with Angular and Java technologies. Together, you will shape a robust, reliable, and high-performance platform for Swiss billing and payment transactions.
These are your tasks
- You actively shape the evolutionary transformation of the eBill platform and develop innovative business functionalities for one of Switzerland's leading digital billing networks.
- You drive the integration of AI functions into our product and use modern AI-supported development tools to sustainably increase quality, efficiency, and delivery speed.
- You take responsibility for architectural decisions and the further development of a scalable, secure, and highly available platform.
- You develop and operate business-critical applications with modern Java and web technologies and promote technical excellence through DevOps principles and best practices.
- You work closely with Product Management, Architecture, and Engineering, actively contribute your experience to the team, and support the stable operation of the platform including on-call duty.
This is what you bring
- Solid experience in the development and architecture of modern Java-based web applications as well as a pronounced conceptual thinking ability.
- Several years of practical experience with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, SQL, as well as modern development, CI/CD, and version control tools.
- Experience with agile working methods, DevOps principles, and the operation of business-critical applications.
- Interest in AI-supported software development and enthusiasm for bringing new technologies and innovative solutions into practice.
- Very good German and English skills as well as the ability to discuss technical topics understandably with different stakeholders.
