Business Application Manager (m/f/d)

In this role, you actively shape the digital future of an international company and do not just manage systems. You drive the digital transformation of a global organisation by continuously developing business applications and digital collaboration together with specialist departments, IT and external partners. You take a central role in the further development of a Microsoft-based system landscape and work on solutions used daily by employees across several continents. You connect technology, processes and people, ensuring that ideas become sustainable, practical solutions.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation and further development of business applications
In this role, you develop solutions around M365, CRM, CPQ and other digital platforms together with specialist departments, IT and external partners
As a Business Application Specialist, you actively drive topics related to digital collaboration, automation and artificial intelligence
You coordinate releases, tests and technical developments and ensure a clean and controlled advancement of the systems
In this role, you support governance topics such as roles, permissions, data quality and documentation
As a Business Application Specialist, you work in an international environment with colleagues worldwide and are prepared to travel occasionally within the Geobrugg group
Qualifications:
- You have completed basic training or a degree related to IT, digitalisation, business applications or business engineering
- You bring experience with business applications and work daily with Microsoft 365; ideally, you also know D365 CRM or a comparable CRM solution
- You understand processes, systems and technical contexts well, quickly recognise requirements and translate them into sustainable solutions together with specialist departments and partners
- You can capture, structure and prioritise requirements and keep an overview even with multiple topics simultaneously
- You move confidently between business, IT and external partners, communicate clearly, reconcile different interests, approach new technologies with curiosity and implement ideas pragmatically; you communicate confidently in English in an international environment
- You feel comfortable in the Microsoft ecosystem and are interested in the further development of modern technologies around M365, automation and artificial intelligence
