The Galvaswiss Group operates the largest hot-dip galvanising plants, paint shops and powder coatings in Switzerland. For our location in Aarberg with approx. 140 employees, we are looking for a

Head of Freight Forwarding/Dispatch (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

Management of our freight forwarding and dispatch with approx. 20 vehicles (articulated lorries and special semi-trailers) and drivers
Leadership of employees in technical and personnel matters
Dispatching of vehicles and personnel according to tour plans and special transport orders from our customers
Preparation of delivery documents and customs forms, obtaining permits
Timely deliveries in very close cooperation with production
Organisation of vehicle maintenance and service and participation in vehicle procurement

Your profile:

Driver category C/E, possibly with further training as a dispatcher with a professional certificate
Experience in the role of head of freight forwarding/dispatcher with personnel responsibility
Experience in customs traffic (D/F)
Good leadership skills and open, communicative towards customers, employees and colleagues, team-oriented and socially competent
Very good geographical knowledge of Switzerland
Good spoken German and French skills, ideally also written
