Exterior Joinery Technician

About the job

We are currently looking for a technician specialised in the field of exterior joinery.

The person sought will be responsible for the following tasks in particular:

taking measurements on site;

drawing up technical plans;

preparing orders for materials and accessories;

producing documents and manufacturing files;

ensuring the technical follow-up of projects, from measurement to delivery and installation; coordinating communication with clients, suppliers and assembly teams;

monitoring deadlines, quality and compliance of the work.

The candidate must have solid technical knowledge in the following areas:

wood and wood-metal windows and doors; simple fittings.

The desired profile must hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a joiner or an equivalent qualification. Additional training, such as a technician diploma, a federal foreman certificate or a federal master certificate, is a significant advantage.

Proficiency in the following software is desired:

AutoCAD: advanced level essential;

Triviso: good knowledge desired;

FenOffice: appreciated knowledge.

We are looking for an autonomous, rigorous and organised person, with good analytical skills and an excellent sense of coordination. Proven experience in managing and monitoring projects related to windows and doors is desired.

The starting date is to be agreed. The workload is 100%, with the possibility to organise working hours over a four-day week. The workplace is located in Vernier.
