As a Senior Key Account Manager – Retail, you are responsible for the strategic development of national customers to generate sustainable and profitable growth. You define and implement all sales and development activities considering the overarching strategy, financial profitability, and local market conditions.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independent management of your customer portfolio including responsibility for revenue and profitability growth
- Design, coordination, and implementation of strategic customer plans
- Care for assigned accounts and expand local customer relationships
- Planning negotiation strategy, leading negotiations, and drafting offers in collaboration with the Group Key Account Manager
- Analysis of customer, market, and competitive data for the further development and optimization of your Key Account customers
- Promotion of cross-functional collaboration between KAM and internal stakeholders (Marketing, Finance, RGM, Category Management)
ARE YOU THE ONE?
- You have a completed degree in business administration (Master's degree is an advantage)
- You bring several years of professional experience in the FMCG environment (3–5 years in Account Management, Category Management, or Marketing).
- You are characterized by strong analytical and strategic skills as well as a pronounced understanding of revenue and financial metrics
- You bring strong competencies in collaborating with internal and external partners by exemplifying cooperation, problem-solving, and efficient communication
- You are a dynamic personality, work independently, have the necessary drive to make a difference, and possess a quick grasp of concepts
- You are familiar with SAP and MS Office, especially proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- You have very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written). French is an advantage
