The General Clinic and its staff welcome patients in a modern and pleasant environment in the heart of the city of Fribourg. The General Clinic offers high-quality medical care and personalised follow-up in the following areas: orthopaedics, musculoskeletal trauma, hand surgery, neurosurgery, surgery, gynaecology, as well as ear, nose and throat (ENT).
As part of the development of our activity, we are looking for a 100% physiotherapist to join our team.
Job Description
You will carry out a varied activity, divided between outpatient care and follow-up of hospitalised patients.
50% – Outpatient Physiotherapy Clinic
Within our clinic, located on the premises of the Clinic, you will provide care for patients with orthopaedic, trauma or neurological pathologies. You will also contribute to the development of this outpatient activity by offering personalised support promoting the return to autonomy, functional rehabilitation or physical preparation.
50% – Hospital Follow-up
You will provide physiotherapy care for hospitalised patients, mainly in the context of post-operative follow-up in orthopaedics, trauma and neurosurgery, in close collaboration with surgeons, nursing teams and other health professionals.
Sports Physiotherapy
You will also participate in our partnership with Team AFF, providing about 2 hours of physiotherapy follow-up per week with the women’s team in Granges-Paccot. A great opportunity for those interested in caring for high-level sportswomen.
Qualifications
- Physiotherapy diploma recognised in Switzerland or equivalent
- Strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and post-operative follow-up
- Excellent interpersonal skills and patient rapport
- Team spirit, autonomy, sense of responsibility and rigour
- Desire to actively participate in the development of outpatient and hospital physiotherapy activities
- Very good knowledge of French; proficiency in German is a real asset
