IT System Engineer

We are looking for an experienced System Network Engineer who will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing network and firewall solutions together with our team. His tasks include monitoring, optimizing networks, and implementing security measures to ensure a stable and secure infrastructure.

YOUR CHALLENGES

• Planning, implementing, and managing network and firewall solutions
• Monitoring and optimizing network performance
• Assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving in the network area
• Analyzing and planning network resources for capacity planning
• Conducting network upgrades and migrations
• Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network architecture and configurations
• Managing and optimizing the network in connection with our Azure topics
• Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure smooth operations

YOUR SKILLS

• Completed studies in computer science or a comparable technical education
• Several years of professional experience in network and firewall management
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN)
• Experience with firewall systems and switch systems (e.g., Cisco, Meraki, Opensystems, Palo Alto)
• Knowledge in network monitoring and analysis
• Experience with Azure network technologies and services
• Team spirit, strong communication skills, and a solution-oriented working style
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty
