Your future job content
In this role, you will take on a central function in the industrialisation and further development of our products. As the technical interface between development, production, and suppliers, you ensure the manufacturability, assemblability, and economical implementation of new as well as existing solutions.
- Active participation in interdisciplinary development projects from functional prototypes to series maturity including prototype construction, validation, documentation, as well as ensuring manufacturability, assemblability, and cost-effectiveness
- Technical leadership of work packages and coordination of interdisciplinary interfaces in development, industrialisation, and improvement projects
- Technical know-how transfer to suppliers and production sites including training, documentation, and support of qualification up to series transfer
- Identification, evaluation, and introduction of new manufacturing, assembly, testing, and AI-supported working methods focusing on technical feasibility, automation, quality, and cost optimisation
- Technical contact person for suppliers and production sites as well as coordination of sustainable solutions for technical challenges
- Implementation of technical product improvements throughout the entire product lifecycle within the framework of the change management process
What speaks for you
You want not only to understand products, machines, and manufacturing processes but also actively shape them? Then ideally you bring the following:
- Technical basic training, e.g. as a polymechanic, automation technician, mechatronics technician, designer, or comparable
- Completed engineering degree (HF/FH) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, systems engineering, production technology, or a comparable technical field
- Initial professional experience in development, manufacturing engineering, production technology, or industrialisation
- Hands-on and can-do mentality with strong initiative and the ambition to actively shape and successfully implement topics
- Affinity for digital technologies and AI tools as well as interest in profitably applying them in everyday engineering
- Willingness to undertake occasional international business trips (approx. 10%)
- Very good communication skills in German and English
