Job Description
The Faculty of Arts of the University of Geneva is advertising a position for a lecturer and researcher in the history of modern philosophy.
Responsibilities: the mission of this position is to develop and pursue a teaching and research programme in the history of modern philosophy. This is an 80% position including 5 hours of teaching at Bachelor and Master levels. The successful candidate will teach at least one introductory course at BA level and at least one seminar at MA level. They will supervise Master’s theses and possibly doctoral theses. The candidate will develop research in the field of the history of modern philosophy.
Required Title and Skills
Doctorate in Letters or an equivalent qualification.
The language of instruction is French and knowledge of English is desirable.
