The central hospital ensures radiological care for a German- and French-speaking region. Approximately 51,000 examinations are performed annually at two locations. Accordingly, the clinical questions and the exchange with various specialist departments are very diverse.

In your daily work, you regularly switch between cross-sectional imaging, conventional X-rays, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and angiography. Available equipment includes three CT scanners, a 3-Tesla and a 1.5-Tesla MRI, DSA, and EOS.

A subspecialisation is welcome but not required. The position is also suitable for young radiologists who, after obtaining their specialist title, initially want to deepen their clinical experience and only later set a professional focus.

Your responsibilities:

• Independent performance and reporting of the entire diagnostic examination spectrum
• Assuming senior consultant responsibility in the clinical-radiological daily routine
• Discussing findings in reports and advising the referring specialist departments
• Participation in internal training and professional presentations
• Participation in night and weekend duties in the form of on-call service

Your skills:

• Specialist title in radiology, recognised in Germany or the EU; support with recognition in Switzerland through Medimeo
• Alternatively, you are in the final phase of your specialist training
• Solid experience in diagnostic radiology and interest in a versatile examination spectrum
• Very good German skills and at least basic knowledge of French
• Responsible and collegial personality with enthusiasm for clinical collaboration
