To support the development of its cutting-edge equipment, our client (a major player in the Life Sciences sector) is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer. You will be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from initial design (Hardware/Firmware) to production transfer (Industrialisation), within a demanding regulated environment.
Your main responsibilities:
Architecture & Design: Lead the definition and evolution of electronic specifications. Validate architectural decisions, schematics and layouts ensuring compliance with functional, electrical safety and EMC standards.
Firmware Development: Improve FW specifications and embedded code (C/C++) ensuring the interface between electronics and main software.
Verification & Validation (V&V): Derive test requirements from specifications, define methodology and execute V&V plans with absolute rigour on quality, compliance and product lifecycle processes.
Industrialisation (PCBA): Lead transfer and industrialisation activities of electronic boards. Work closely with R&D, supply chain, production, quality and suppliers to ensure optimal manufacturing readiness.
Technical Leadership: Drive technical execution, anticipate and mitigate project risks, and resolve complex compliance issues by effectively coordinating various stakeholders.
Your profile:
Education: University degree in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
Experience: Minimum 10 years of successful experience in electronic instrumentation development, covering end-to-end HW/FW/System design and V&V skills.
Regulated environment: Proven experience of the full development cycle (from requirements definition to market launch) within a strict Quality Management System (QMS).
Technical expertise: Strong mastery of electronic engineering disciplines, including in-depth expertise in electrical safety and EMC standards. Confirmed experience in managing PCA supplier quality and developing test strategies for ICT/FCT benches.
Soft Skills: High level of autonomy, proactivity, ability to make decisions and coordinate complex technical projects. Flexibility to change and excellent organisation.
Languages: Fluent English required (spoken and written) to communicate within global and intercultural teams. Mastery of a second language is an asset.
