To strengthen our software development team, we are looking for a motivated and committed individual to join us immediately or by arrangement, who will help shape the future with us.

J. SCHNEEBERGER Maschinen AG develops and produces state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines with integrated robotics for the manufacture and regrinding of cutting tools and the production of a variety of precision parts. Our self-developed CAD/CAM software is a core component of Schneeberger grinding technology. It is offered on industrial PCs with the grinding machines and for installation on workstation computers.

The internationally active family business is represented in all major markets with its own sales and service branches or qualified partners. Customers include companies from tool manufacturing, the automotive industry and its suppliers, general mechanical engineering, the aerospace industry, energy technology, and contract manufacturing.

This is what you can help move with us:

• Further development of our subsystems for calculating part geometries and grinding processes to implement customer requirements, in C++ and our own template language
• Improvement or redesign of existing calculation modules
• Revision of the software design for a more open, future-oriented overall architecture
• Intensification of automated testing

This is what we wish from you:

• Completed studies in (technical) computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline
• Deep knowledge of C++
• Practical experience in understanding and developing complex technical software products
• Enjoyment of clear, clean, contemporary software architecture
