About the job

To complement our «Fugu» nursery team Winterthur Deutweg, we are looking for an intern immediately, limited until the end of July or by arrangement

«Fugu» nurseries are a private operation aiming to expand family-supportive childcare at attractive locations. At the Winterthur Deutweg site, right in the Deutweg centre, we have 320m2 of light-flooded rooms available, which we have furnished child-appropriately. Outside, there are also attractive play opportunities for various activities. The building is centrally located and easily accessible by public transport. Our cook provides delicious and healthy menus daily for the children and all staff. The nursery is organised into 3 groups. Opening hours are from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm.

How brave are you?

Working with children is full of life and you will certainly never be bored. As an intern, you gain your first experiences in the professional world. We accompany you on your path with care and empathy and support you with our expertise. You will learn the basics of childcare and may gradually take on more responsibility. It is important to us that your backpack is full of knowledge and experience by the end of the internship year. This way, you will feel ready to start training as a childcare professional.

TASKS

• Collaborate in the meaningful and appropriate organisation of everyday life
• Support the group leader in managing the children’s group according to the educational principles of the «Fugu» nurseries
• Gain first professional experience under guidance
• Co-organise celebrations, festivals and events

REQUIREMENTS

• Completed compulsory schooling
• Joy and interest in working with children and in a team
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Reliable and resilient
• Self-reflection, willingness to develop further
• Good manners
