Horticulturist - Landscape Gardener at 100%

in the Urban Planning and Architecture Department, Green Spaces Sector

Your tasks

• Collaborate in the general maintenance of a sector in the City of Fribourg: mowing lawns and meadows, weeding, pruning plants, watering, various cleanings
• Carry out pruning work (avenue trees and ornamental trees)
• Participate in various plantings
• Create and maintain flower beds
• Decorate graves in autumn
• Maintain equipment and machinery
• Participate in on-call services (weekends, public holidays)

Your profile

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as landscaper, horticulturist, lumberjack or equivalent training
• At least 5 years of experience in green space maintenance
• Basic "Tree Access" training is an advantage
• Versatile, autonomous person with ease adapting within several teams
• Good physical condition
• Driving licence category B with BE trailer
• Good command of French or German, ideally with knowledge of the partner language
