About the job
Your Tasks
- Medical-therapeutic overall responsibility for an acute ward specialising in geriatric psychiatry with psychological and somatic comorbidities
- Superior organisational and coordinating management tasks
- Joint management of the ward with the nursing ward management
- Leadership and training of assistant doctors and psychologists
- Clinical-diagnostic assessment of patients, indication setting, clarification of legal status, responsibility for therapy planning and implementation
- Creation, further development and implementation of treatment concepts with superiors and the multiprofessional treatment teams
- Planning & coordination of personnel resource deployment
- Close cooperation with employees of other internal specialities
- Networked collaboration in the sense of integrated care with the outpatient care system, especially the elderly and nursing homes in the region, and other external cooperation partners such as referrers and specialist clinics
- Senior physician on-call duties (compensated with 5 additional days of leave)
Your Profile
- You have a specialist title in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- You have already obtained or are about to obtain the specialist title in geriatric psychiatry
- You have extensive experience and expertise in the field of geriatric psychiatry
- Extensive professional experience in adult psychiatry and psychotherapy as well as leadership experience underline your qualification
- Interest in milieu therapy and recovery-oriented work is a matter of course
- Leadership skills and enjoyment in conceptual further development of treatments are among your strengths
- A recognised MEBEKO accreditation is available
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1) complete your profile
- You are aiming for an institutional career. There is the possibility to apply for a chief physician position within about 1.5 years.
