Do you have a keen eye for detail, work in a structured manner, and have experience in quality assurance? For our client, we are looking for a reliable and knowledgeable individual as a QS Incoming Goods Inspector for a fixed-term position.

Incoming Goods Inspector (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• You ensure delivery quality through professional QS incoming goods inspection.
• You apply common inspection methods such as visual and manual inspections as well as 3D measuring arms and check the associated quality verification documents from suppliers.
• You inspect materials, components, and assemblies according to drawings, specifications, or standards.
• You use measuring and testing equipment professionally.
• You check certificates, testimonials, and test evidence.
• You identify and classify detected defects and complaints.
• You decide on the acceptance, blocking, or further processing of items, components, and assemblies.
• You create and archive inspection reports, deviation notifications, and complaint reports.
• You ensure compliance with defined processes as well as quality and 5S standards.

Your Profile

• Completed technical or mechanical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Several years of professional experience in incoming goods inspection with common measuring instruments and testing techniques as well as in 3D metrology, preferably with PC-DMIS
• Experience in complaint management is an advantage, especially in creating complaint and claim reports including coordination of necessary tasks and measures
• Basic training in quality assurance, 3D metrology and/or further training as a visual inspector at a recognised certification body (VT 1 & 2) is an advantage
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
• Independent working style and a structured approach
