Social Deacon with Focus on Visiting Service

Our church community in Knonauer Amt is evolving with committed people and fresh ideas. We shape our community life to be modern, close to life, and diverse.

To complement our team, we are looking for you!

Your Tasks:

• Management of the Affoltern visiting service, which is organised as an association
• Support and accompaniment of the 24 volunteers
• Mediation and recruitment of new volunteers
• Public relations work around the association
• Collaboration with the sponsoring organisations
• Regional coordination of the visiting services
• Organisation and implementation of the biannual exchange meetings
• Public relations work such as joint public events Marktplatz Alter
• Organisation and implementation of the event in cooperation with the Specialist Office for Ageing and Health of the City of Affoltern

Your Profile:

• Joy and appreciation in working with volunteers
• Interest in creative, innovative work
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• Bachelor in Social Work FH or equivalent; career starters are also warmly welcome
• Flexibility in working hours
• Identification with church values
