WHAT YOU WILL DO
As an IT Specialist in the field of platform development, you are an expert in the setup, maintenance, and security of IT systems. Depending on the task and area of expertise, you evaluate servers, networks, workstations, and software, perform programming tasks, expand networks and device configurations, and protect systems from hackers. You deal with hardware and software of individual and networked systems, data acquisition, transmission, and control systems. This also includes performing hardware repairs; that is, detecting faults, narrowing them down, and replacing defective parts or updating them via software updates. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
WHAT YOU BRING
Good school performance in Sek. A (cantons ZH/BE), with very good results Sek. B is also welcome, as a prerequisite to complete an apprenticeship as an IT Specialist EFZ in Platform Development. Interest in technology and technological trends, logical/abstract thinking skills, patience and perseverance, good academic achievements, and good verbal communication skills, as well as the willingness to commit to a successful apprenticeship, are further requirements.
