Medical Assistant M/F in Outpatient Urology at 60%-80%
The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 collaborators. The Rennaz Hospital Centre has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. To complete our UROLOGY unit team at the Rennaz site, we are looking for a:
Medical Assistant M/F at 60%-80%
The main duties of this position are
- Ensure communication with accredited doctors' practices
- Schedule appointments in the UROLOGY calendar
- Handle routine administrative follow-up: open, sort and distribute mail, process emails, answer the phone
- Ensure proper administrative management of medical records and billing follow-up
- Contribute to teamwork, act collegially
- Assist during consultations
- Set up and tidy the consultation room
We require
- A Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as medical assistant, DFMS or an equivalent qualification
- Proven experience in a hospital or medical practice
- Fluency in French, both spoken and written, as well as excellent IT skills
- A sense of responsibility, organisation and planning
- A motivated, rigorous, dynamic person with excellent communication skills
- Adherence to and respect for institutional directives and procedures
