We are looking for experienced Principal Consultants with a focus on digitalisation and technology management to develop our advisory consulting into a leading business area, acquire mandates and lead consulting teams.

You work collaboratively with our clients, both in the private sector and public administration, to acquire, design, shape and implement initiatives.

As a Principal in Advisory, you are responsible for bridging the gap between management, business units and technology and driving our business forward with energy. You lead and oversee client mandates to set up strategic initiatives on the one hand and to help shape the organisation of the client’s IT function on the other. You know your clients’ business, are experienced in consulting and have experience in strategic mandates, programme management, enterprise architecture, data & AI advisory and/or IT organisational design.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (ETH/University/FH) in a relevant discipline
Experience: Many years of work as an external consultant in a management consultancy and/or service provider
Consulting skills: Transformation consulting, project management, presentation and moderation skills, strong analytical abilities and data literacy
AI expertise: You have expertise in the use of AI in consulting and act as an enabler for clients as well as internally at adesso
Communication: Excellent, target-group appropriate communication skills at executive, programme management and team levels
Business/IT alignment: Proven experience as well as strong business and technical understanding
Industry understanding: Good understanding of business processes in at least two industries
Focus topics: Experience in enterprise architecture management and/or IT operating models and/or data science, strategy and governance
Market experience: Solid experience and a well-developed personal network in the Swiss market, possibly also internationally
Business development: Good skills and interest in business development, marketing and sales of consulting and implementation projects
Flexibility: You are willing to travel project-related and enjoy working in agile teams.
