We are looking for a psychogeriatric specialised care home in Geneva for a Nurse M/F profile for temporary assignments.

Nurse M/F in a Care Home

The tasks consist of:

Administering treatments;

Ensuring continuity of nursing care for residents during the night, respecting medical prescriptions and current protocols.

Managing emergencies and crisis situations, in collaboration with the night team and emergency professionals.

Ensuring strict compliance with hygiene and safety rules;

Meticulously maintaining electronic care records;

Supporting and guiding the nursing assistant team in carrying out their tasks (must ensure monitoring and control of delegated acts);

Participating in the development of numerous interdisciplinary projects: palliative care, individualised support projects, targeted handovers…

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

Holder of a Bachelor of Science HES-SO in nursing or a foreign diploma with valid equivalence

Minimum 3 years experience in care homes and psychogeriatrics

Good command of French

Comfortable with IT, knowledge of Carefolio is a plus

Good physical endurance

Well-developed interpersonal skills, discretion and good adaptability

Proven ability to work in a team and autonomously, as well as to communicate with the multidisciplinary team

Work from Monday to Sunday (continuous day shift of 8h/12h or split day, weekends, public holidays)
