Role:
In this role, you take responsibility for the operation, further development, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as well as other applications. You analyse business requirements, implement them in close collaboration with the business units, and ensure the flawless functioning of interfaces. Additionally, you coordinate and manage external partners and suppliers and are responsible for professional incident, change, and release management. You actively participate in projects, rollouts, and system migrations and create thorough documentation. With your experience, you also support 2nd and 3rd level support.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the stable operation, further development, and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and will eventually take over application management of other business applications.
You analyse requirements from the business units, assess their technical and process-related impacts, and implement suitable solutions together with internal and external contacts.
You ensure the reliable functioning of the interfaces between Business Central and other systems and support the analysis and resolution of integration issues.
You coordinate and manage external IT partners and suppliers, oversee their services, and ensure targeted collaboration between business, IT, and external specialists.
You ensure a structured incident, change, and release management for the supported applications and accompany changes from the request to productive implementation.
You support IT projects, rollouts, and system migrations and contribute your knowledge of Business Central, business processes, and existing system dependencies.
You create and maintain technical and business documentation and ensure that relevant processes, configurations, and changes are documented transparently.
You support 2nd and 3rd level support, analyse more complex application issues, and coordinate their resolution with external partners if necessary.
Qualifications:
You have several years of practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV and understand the requirements for the professional operation of a business-critical ERP solution.
You possess good knowledge of business processes in finance, purchasing, and sales and can assess business requirements in connection with the corresponding ERP processes.
Ideally, you also bring experience with industry-specific care or support solutions or comparable specialised applications.
You have experience in application management and are familiar with coordinating operation, further development, support, as well as change and release processes.
You understand interfaces and dependencies between different enterprise applications and can analyse technical and business problems in a structured manner.
You work analytically, structured, and solution-oriented and can sensibly prioritise and coordinate requirements from different stakeholders.
You have very good German language skills and can communicate confidently with business units, IT specialists, and external service providers.
