Shaping modern geriatric medicine as a team
In our Geriatrics Clinic, we combine medical expertise with holistic, patient-centred care. At the same time, we place great value on an open, collegial working culture with short decision-making paths and genuine collaboration on equal footing.
Our clinic includes an acute geriatric ward, a Memory Clinic, as well as mobile geriatrics providing care for a retirement and nursing home. As a recognised training centre of category A Geriatrics and category C Internal Medicine, we offer a professionally demanding environment with diverse development opportunities.
Our multidisciplinary, bilingual team is led by two geriatricians in modern co-leadership. Physicians work closely with professionals from nursing, therapy, speech therapy, nutritional and social counselling – characterised by mutual respect and team spirit.
To complement our team, we are looking for a committed senior physician.

Senior Physician Geriatrics 60–80 %
Your tasks – our position
- Medical care of our patients in acute geriatrics
- Application of geriatric treatment processes with professional support from the geriatricians
- Planning and leading multidisciplinary site meetings
- Participation in the in-house geriatric consultation service
- Supervision and training of assistant physicians
- Participation in weekend duty on the ward (no emergency duties)
Your skills – our requirements
- FMH specialist in internal medicine or near completion
- Interest in geriatric medicine; a focus on geriatrics is an advantage but not a prerequisite
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and team exchange
- Motivation to actively participate in training and further education
- Native German or French speaker with good knowledge of the other language
