On behalf of one of our partners located in the Biel region, we are currently looking for an experienced Civil Engineering Foreman to strengthen their teams and ensure the management and monitoring of various construction sites.

Job Description
-Supervise and manage the teams present on the construction sites-Organise and plan the different stages of the work
-Distribute tasks among employees and coordinate interventions
-Ensure daily monitoring of work progress
-Guarantee compliance with deadlines, plans and quality requirements
-Ensure strict compliance with safety rules and instructions
-Organise personnel, equipment and machinery needs
-Manage stocks and anticipate material and supply needs
-Coordinate with site management, technicians, suppliers and various partners
-Control the proper execution of civil engineering works
-Write and monitor daily site reports
-Identify potential problems on site and quickly implement appropriate solutions
We expect
-Training in construction or civil engineering-Proven experience of at least 4 to 5 years as a civil engineering foreman in Switzerland
-Excellent knowledge of civil engineering works and the different stages of a construction site
-Proven experience in leading and managing teams
-Ability to organise and plan work effectively
-Good proficiency in reading plans
-Autonomous, responsible person capable of making decisions
-Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise
-Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with various stakeholders
-Reliable, rigorous and solution-oriented
-Driving licence essential
-Good command of French; knowledge of German is a real advantage for the Biel region
