In the Social Services department, you combine direct counselling with professional responsibility, networking and development work.

Your tasks
• Professional responsibility together with two other specialists
• Advice and support for people with support needs, relatives and legal representatives in different life situations
• Contact person for prevention and reporting office
• Cooperation with internal and external specialist offices, especially on social insurance matters
• First contact person for those interested in SILEA offers and coordination of volunteer work
• Leading and participating in projects as well as developing new offers
You bring
• Qualification in social work at university of applied sciences level, social pedagogy or a comparable field as well as relevant professional experience in social work
• Confident handling of complex life situations and different target groups
• Interest in developing participation opportunities and commitment to promoting an inclusive social environment in Thun
• Reliability and communication skills, combined with an appreciative attitude. You meet people at eye level and create trusting professional relationships.
