Job Description

We are recruiting an AI People & Asset Technician to ensure the performance, HSEQ compliance and development of resources in a Lean production sector.

You will have technical, organisational, financial and managerial responsibility for small production lines or ancillary activities. You will drive operational performance, support continuous improvement initiatives and supervise team leaders to ensure the availability of the necessary skills for the smooth running of the sector.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSEQ regulations, standards and procedures, particularly in managing changes and abnormal situations.
• Ensure adherence to the production plan, in close coordination with planning teams and support functions.
• Monitor and improve production line performance: yield, efficiency, OEE, operational costs, quality and safety.
• Define, monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs), notably using digital tools and MES configuration.
• Manage continuous improvement plans and actively contribute to OpEx initiatives, such as A3 and Tier approaches.
• Analyse and resolve technical issues in a structured manner, with maintenance, logistics, planning and development teams.
• Write and maintain operational procedures; contribute to work planning and optimisation of sector activities.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate team leaders; monitor performance, objectives and staff development.
• Define resource and skill needs, develop versatility and ensure training planning.
• Organise the induction and follow-up of new arrivals, trainee operators, apprentices and temporary staff.

Qualifications

Required

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a chemical and pharmaceutical production technologist, or equivalent training complemented by significant professional experience.
• Proven experience in a production environment subject to high HSEQ requirements.
• Essential experience managing a team of at least five people.
• Good knowledge of HSEQ standards and operational risk management.
• Good understanding of production processes and IT systems used in an industrial environment.
• Ability to analyse situations, solve problems in a structured way and challenge the status quo.
• Leadership, organisational skills and ability to communicate effectively within a matrix organisation.
• Ability to manage priorities, stress and emergency situations.
• Proficiency in basic IT tools; knowledge of production management tools and MES is an advantage.
• Good level of spoken and written English is desirable.
