For over 50 years, NRJ Transports Sàrl has been supporting children, adolescents and adults attending specialised schools and institutions in the canton of Neuchâtel.

Driver-escort for people with disabilities

Part-time (minimum 30%)

Your daily routine

Much more than a driving job, you accompany our beneficiaries in their daily journeys.

With full autonomy, you carry out regular rounds while ensuring the safety, comfort and well-being of the people transported. Your mission notably includes:

• taking charge of and transporting beneficiaries according to defined schedules
• ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the journey
• communicating with our control centre when the situation requires it
• maintaining the vehicle entrusted to you
• applying the company’s procedures and safety rules

The profile that will thrive with us

Above all, we are looking for a deeply humane and reliable person. You enjoy driving, working independently and creating a reassuring atmosphere with the people you accompany.

You also have:

• a category B driving licence
• good physical condition
• good oral French skills
• a clean criminal record
• a residence in the canton of Neuchâtel

Experience in the disability field is an asset but not essential. We provide comprehensive basic training and finance the professional licence required for this activity. We are convinced that skills can be learned. Human qualities, however, are essential.

Working hours

The position guarantees a minimum activity rate of 30%. Depending on the company’s needs and your availability, this rate may gradually increase.

Rounds are carried out from Monday to Friday, mainly:

• from 07:00 to 09:00
• from 15:30 to 17:30

Your availability is required during these two time slots, five days a week.
