About the job
The Centre for Children with Sensory and Physical Impairments ZKSK is an interdisciplinary centre of expertise for children and adolescents with physical, sensory, and multiple impairments in the canton of Solothurn. At four locations, we offer educational support, individual medical and pedagogical therapy services, as well as residential options. Through psychological and medical assessments and therapies, we support, advise, and accompany children and families.
To bridge a bottleneck and due to high demand, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a speech therapist in early intervention (40%) at our therapy centre in Oensingen. You will provide therapy to preschool children with language acquisition disorders and advise parents in our outpatient therapy centre. The position is initially limited until 31 July 2027, with the option of extension.
Your tasks
- Speech therapy assessment of voice, language, speech, and perception disorders using recognised standardised assessment procedures
- Planning and implementation of individually tailored speech therapy, mainly in one-to-one settings
- Promotion and expansion of linguistic-communicative competencies
- Close collaboration with parents and caregivers
- Cooperation with paediatricians, specialists, or other professionals
- Independent handling of administration (scheduling appointments, reporting)
Your qualifications
- Degree in speech therapy
- Experience working with children
- Enjoyment of independent work, case management, and administration
- Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration centred on the child
