For our client, a successful Swiss company in special machinery and plant engineering, we are looking for an experienced professional in the field of electrical planning. The company develops and realises technically sophisticated automation and production systems for international customers. You can expect a varied range of tasks with modern engineering tools, short decision-making paths, and exciting projects.
- Planning and design of electrical components taking into account applicable standards and safety regulations
- Calculation and documentation of functional safety concepts according to current standards
- Technical coordination with external control cabinet manufacturers as well as support during production
- Assistance with commissioning, function tests, and optimisation of the systems
- Professional experience in electrical planning or hardware engineering in mechanical or plant engineering
- Knowledge of EPLAN or a comparable CAE system
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German skills, English skills advantageous

Tasks
- Development and creation of electrical diagrams, circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and cable layouts for complex machines and systems- Planning and design of electrical components taking into account applicable standards and safety regulations
- Calculation and documentation of functional safety concepts according to current standards
- Technical coordination with external control cabinet manufacturers as well as support during production
- Assistance with commissioning, function tests, and optimisation of the systems
Profile
- Completed technical training as an automation technician EFZ, electrical planner EFZ, or comparable qualification with further training to technician HF or engineer FH in the field of electrical engineering or automation- Professional experience in electrical planning or hardware engineering in mechanical or plant engineering
- Knowledge of EPLAN or a comparable CAE system
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Fluent German skills, English skills advantageous
