Eurofins Professional Scientific Services® (PSS) provides global insourcing solutions, deploying dedicated Eurofins PSS teams directly at our customers’ sites. In close collaboration with our customers, we define tailored scopes of work delivering scientific, technical, regulatory, and operational support services across regulated biopharma environments.
Throughout each engagement, Eurofins PSS retains full responsibility for service delivery, project and operational management, and the deployment and management of Eurofins personnel on-site, ensuring consistent quality, performance, and compliance.
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will contribute to the significant growth of Eurofins PSS in Switzerland and will:
- Design and implement the business development strategy for Switzerland.
- Collaborate with leadership to execute the strategy and achieve growth objectives.
- Acquire new clients and develop long-term partnerships.
- Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
- Participate in congresses, seminars, and industry events to increase brand visibility and recognition.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop sales materials for new business opportunities.
- Track market trends and key stakeholders to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or Business.
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in Biopharma or Life Sciences.
- Strong local industry network is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to generate new opportunities, acquire new clients, and expand the company’s footprint in new market areas.
- Customer-centric approach, demonstrating that client needs are a priority.
- Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, both externally and internally.
- Excellent language skills (verbal and written) in English and German; knowledge of Swiss German and French is a plus.
- Confident use of IT solutions (MS Office, CRM software).
