At the Wädenswil Primary School (PSW), around 2,000 pupils are taught and cared for in six school units. Our supplementary school care is very popular – it is well established, professionally managed, and characterised by dedicated staff who are there for the children every day with heart, competence, and joy.

The Wädenswil Primary School offers two apprenticeships in supplementary school care starting August 2027.

Do you enjoy working with children, like being active, and want to learn a varied profession where you gladly take responsibility and can make a difference? During your three-year apprenticeship, you will gain a solid insight into pedagogical work with school-age children. We accompany kindergarten and primary school children outside of lessons. Together, we create a varied daily routine with play, movement, creativity, shared meals, and individual support. The children’s well-being, their participation, and a trusting collaboration are at the heart of what we do.

• Completed compulsory schooling
• Enjoyment in working with children aged 4 to 12 years

• Reliability, teamwork skills, and willingness to learn
• Motivation and interest in developing yourself in a social profession
• Good oral and written German skills
