Your tasks
You will lead the departments (Production, AVOR) at the Sulgen site for Belimed AG.
Ensuring the timely processing and delivery of pressure chambers is part of your responsibilities.
You will work on the ongoing reduction of production costs while ensuring compliance with medical and pressure equipment regulations. Additionally, you will collaborate internationally with departments such as Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory.
Main tasks
- Leadership of the operational departments: Production, AVOR at the Sulgen site
- Continuous review and adjustment of production capacities according to customer demands
- Initiating and controlling continuous improvement projects in cooperation with design and development
- Ensuring quality standards in the sense of a premium manufacturer
- Compliance with medical and pressure equipment regulations in collaboration with Regulatory
- Close cooperation within the framework of production and technology synergies.
- Participation in the operations meeting together with the operations managers of other locations
- Monitoring the Operations Sulgen KPI dashboard and measuring operations according to the Total Cost of Ownership approach (cost-quality-availability-inventory) in cooperation with Finance
Your profile
- Technical basic training or completed apprenticeship in a manufacturing industrial company
- Completed engineering degree or advanced technical training, ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, or production management
- Several years of leadership experience in a production environment
- Solid experience in production, production planning, and/or work preparation (AVOR)
- Proven experience in optimising and further developing production processes as well as implementing improvement measures
- Good knowledge and practical experience in welding technology
- Advantageous: business management knowledge, especially in costing, as well as experience in pressure equipment manufacturing
- Fluent German / good English skills (min. B2)
- Strong organisational talent and the ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently, reliably, and conscientiously
- High sense of urgency and the ability to set priorities correctly and consistently advance urgent matters promptly
- Assertive and solution-oriented personality with excellent communication skills at different hierarchy and specialist levels
- High resilience, willingness to perform, and adaptability in a dynamic and demanding production environment
- Strong ability for interdisciplinary collaboration, especially at the interfaces between manufacturing, assembly, and engineering
- Convinces through a structured, reliable, and goal-oriented working style and aligns decisions and measures consistently with the strategic company goals
- Combines hands-on mentality with strategic thinking and ensures consistent and sustainable implementation of defined goals
