We cannot move mountains, of course. But that does not matter. Because as experienced alpinists in rail freight transport, we see mountains as a challenge and not as an obstacle. We transport tons of goods from the North Sea through the Alps to the Mediterranean, and that is a tricky task. Production Planner: Regular Planning
What awaits you:
- You plan national and international freight trains precisely and proactively along the corridor from Belgium to Italy – within the framework of the annual and intermediate timetable
- As a central hub, you coordinate domestic, import and export traffic and ensure a smooth process
- You coordinate closely with sales, customers and partner railways and successfully accompany new traffic from the idea to implementation
- You ensure that transports and the required slots are correctly recorded and scheduled in the planning systems
- With your ideas and expertise, you actively shape projects in production planning and contribute to the further development of rail freight transport
What you bring with you:
- Training as a railway operations dispatcher, public transport clerk or a comparable qualification
- Experience in production planning in rail freight transport
- Networked thinking, analytical strength and a structured way of working
- With your very good German skills and your confident use of English, you bring multilingualism into play – preferably also in Italian or French
- Confident handling of MS Office as well as experience with planning systems such as NeTS or Railcube
